The Condition of the Ummah - Part 4

Becoming a People of Trust

“Why would you do that?”
It’s a question we often ask when someone has betrayed our confidence. Imagine renting a home, agreeing to pay each month, then simply choosing not to. Immediately, tension fills the air. The bond between landlord and tenant is broken. The same happens when we take what isn’t ours or when we exploit someone’s kindness. These breaches of trust are like a slow-growing cancer—quietly spreading, weakening families, communities, and eventually entire nations.

Trust, or amanah, is not only a religious concept; it is the foundation of every relationship. Take the most intimate relationship—marriage. Without trust, there is suspicion. And when suspicion grows, love struggles to survive. A marriage without trust is like a body without a heartbeat. Extend that idea to friendships, workplaces, institutions, and nations. When trust collapses, everything around it follows.

Our Ummah is no different. When trust erodes among us, unity fades and fragmentation sets in. Today we see mistrust at almost every level—between individuals, between communities, and even between rulers and the people they govern. We witness leaders who fail in their duty to protect and uphold justice. We see agreements made then violated, promises broken, and lives shattered as a result. In Gaza, ceasefires are signed in ink but not in action. Can the Palestinians trust that the mediators and signatories to the agreement will enforce the ceasefire for all parties??

But before we point fingers outward, we must look inward. The condition of the Ummah is a reflection of our personal condition. If our homes are filled with broken promises, if our businesses cut corners, if our hearts lack honesty—how can we expect Allah to grant us strength on the world stage? Culture begins at home. If betrayal becomes normal in our daily lives, it eventually becomes normal in society.

So, where do we begin? By fulfilling our amanah. Pay what you owe. Keep your word. Honour the agreements you make, even if no one is watching. Build habits of sincerity and integrity. These small acts of trustworthiness become seeds for greater change.

There is hope. Allah’s mercy is vast, and He elevates those who strive toward goodness. Islam will prevail—as Allah has promised. The only question is: will we be among those honoured to carry that banner, or will we watch from the sidelines?

Choose to be a person of trust. Strengthen your home, your relationships, your community. When we rebuild trust at the micro level, unity naturally grows at the macro level. This is one way how we revive the Ummah— being trustworthy first.

The Condition of the Ummah - Part 2

When you read the Qur’an, have you ever paused to reflect on its perfection? Every verse flows without error, for it is the word of the One who is perfect—Allah. This is Allah who created us and sent us guidance. He it is who created us, informing the angels of our role on earth when He said (interpretation of the meaning):

˹Remember˺ when your Lord said to the angels, “I am going to place a successive ˹human˺ authority on earth.” They asked ˹Allah˺, “Will You place in it someone who will spread corruption there and shed blood while we glorify Your praises and sanctify You?” Allah responded, “I know what you do not know.” [Quran 2:30]

This then is our role that we must implement the laws of Allah and establish His authority. This role is to call to good and to forbid the evil. The knowledge of what is right and wrong comes from the Qur’an and Sunnah, and every Muslim is required to live by that standard. The implementation is dependent on that knowledge. Knowledge, however, is not enough. What gives it life is sincerity—because actions are judged by intentions. When the heart is sincere, Allah opens the path to good. The fruits of your intention will certainly be exposed and will weigh heavily for you or against you. You are responsible for your flock, your household, and therein lies a test whether you are Allah-conscious or wavering on that front. The same measure applies to leaders and rulers.

You and your household must incline to Allah and ward off outside influences to do otherwise. Likewise, those in positions of authority must protect their people from harm and injustice. With the Qur’an and Sunnah in their care, they are entrusted to uphold fairness, defend rights, and preserve the freedom to worship Allah. They should be the protectors of the rights and freedoms of people just as you are responsible for the wellbeing of your family. These are matters that cannot be outsourced or ignored.

In conclusion: man was created to implement the authority of Allah on earth, and Muslims bear that responsibility because we submit to His laws. Falling short in protecting our families—or, on a broader scale, the Ummah—is a failure of duty. It reflects a weakness in sincerity and consciousness of Allah. Is it not time to renew our intentions, strengthen our faith, and act upon what we know to be true? If we begin with sincerity in our homes and hearts, imagine the impact on our communities, and on the oppressed people of Palestine. True change begins when we live by the guidance of Allah.

The Help of Allah is near - Part 8

The Nearness of Allah and the State of the Ummah

The revelation of the Qur’an and the Prophethood of our beloved leader, Muhammad , marks the completion of Allah’s favour upon us. There will be no new message, no fresh revelation. Whatever answers we seek already lie in what has been revealed. The key is our nearness to Allah — for true understanding of the deen comes only to those who draw close to Him. If our current condition is any indication, it shows just how far we’ve drifted from that nearness.

Today, Islam and Muslims are blamed for much of what happens in the world. We are made scapegoats through propaganda and the dumbing down of the masses. Yet, amidst all the noise, there remains a glimmer of hope — ordinary people around the world have shown humanity in their response to the genocide in Gaza. Not necessarily the leaders, but the people. It’s a sign that truth still finds its way to hearts.

Now, as the world turns its eyes to the so-called “peace proposals” for Gaza, we pray that the Palestinians are not capitulating, but preparing for their victory parade. But what about the rest of the Muslims? Where do we stand? The truth is painful — many of us are in a state of heedlessness. While Allah has perfected our religion, our failure to live by the Qur’an and Sunnah reflects our ingratitude for His guidance.

Allah reminds us in the Qur’an:

“When will the help of Allah come? Indeed, the help of Allah is near.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:214)

This verse speaks to the test of the believers. The help of Allah is near — but it is not given freely. It is tied to faith, patience, and a heart set on paradise. And that is where we have faltered. Too many of us live as if paradise is a distant dream, not our ultimate goal. The love of this world has overtaken our hearts, and our children are being raised in that same distraction.

Do we even understand this heedlessness? The occupiers of Palestine struggled to contain the Sumud Flotilla — imagine if we had doubled that number of boats! Yet our energy is spent chasing comfort and recognition, not striving for Allah’s pleasure. To enter paradise, we must love Allah, and for Allah to love us, we must follow the example of Prophet Muhammad . The only way to do that is to seek — to ask at every turn: What does the Qur’an and Sunnah say about this?

The Palestinian struggle is not only about land; it reflects our own spiritual struggle. It shows how far we have turned away from the guidance of Allah. Still, there remain those who hold firmly to the rope of Allah — who seek His love, and through that, entry into paradise.

It is now our turn. Each of us must set our goal and return to Allah. Victory will surely come to the believers. The only question is: will we be part of that victory parade, or will we still be busy hustling for our share of this fleeting world?

The Help of Allah is near - Part 7

Prophet Muhammad warned that the thing he fears for his ummah is that the riches of the world will open to them, they will compete for it and it will destroy them.

Amr ibn Awf reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “By Allah, it is not poverty that I fear for you, but rather I fear you will be given the wealth of the world, just as it was given to those before you. You will compete for it just as they competed for it, and it will ruin you just as it ruined them.” [Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī and Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim]

Is it not true that many Muslim nations, blessed with wealth, still struggle to uplift their people? Is it not true that Muslims, in general, have inclined to the comforts of this world, showing greater inclination to competing than to uplift?

It is easy to point fingers at wealthy Arab nations and ask, ‘Why are our brothers and sisters in Gaza still starving when feeding the hungry is among the best of deeds?’ Yet, we must also look inward. What about our own communities? Have we truly done enough to lift the burdens around us? In Cape Town, as an example, crime is high. Perhaps, the gang wars are rather dangerous. But how is it that we do not do enough crime prevention in our communities in general? How is it that businesses do not forge a plan to protect themselves and their customers? What if Muslim business leaders in Cape Town united for safety initiatives? Wouldn’t that be a small reflection of the unity we call for regarding Palestine? Have we forgotten the reason and purpose of creation? Is it merely to traverse the earth and accumulate wealth that is temporary anyway?

The reason for alluding to this local problem while the focus is still Palestine and Aqsa, is that there is a pattern in the behaviour of the Muslims. We have become weak or maybe careless. How much of our principles have we forsaken so that we may earn that extra dollar or hold onto a position of relative power or status? Just like we let the robber steal from our neighbour in broad daylight, the Zionist warplanes cross over our airspace to bomb a neighbouring country. Our strength has never been in copying foreign ideologies. It has always been in holding firmly to the Qur’an and Sunnah. That’s where our true dignity lies. Qatar was dealt a blow by the Zionist bombing. The Palestinians gained a victory. Yet, the response to being attacked will be telling as to our reliance upon Allah. Will we, the Muslim ummah, be the recipients of Allah’s pleasure or will we be questioned for our apathy?

Muslims have a duty to command with good and to prevent the evil. It is not merely policy but needs action. Had we that strong inclination to be the “khalifah” as Allah described us to the angels, we will act in the ideal manner to bring betterment to society and the world at large.

The help of Allah is near. Call on Him sincerely!

The Help of Allah is near - Part 3

As the bombs fall over Gaza, the cry for unity among Muslims grows louder. Yet unity remains elusive. Why?

The Muslim ummah today is fragmented and weakened, but there is hope on the horizon. The issue of Palestine may serve as a crucial turning point for the Muslim ummah. There are serious issues to contend with which will bring unity and strength to the ummah. There will always be stragglers, some of whom may fall by the wayside and others will dust themselves off and be role players in the service of the ummah.

The catastrophic situation in Palestine may yet be the catalyst for Islamic revival. While the colonialists have dominated and become masters over much of the world and even shaped religious views, it is time for the Muslim ummah to awaken. People devout on their religion have limited it to mere rituals. The defence of Muslims and the oppressed in general has been neglected and even abandoned. What then will be the true essence of the revival? It is in our faith. In understanding that concept well enough, it must be integral to our lives. That faith that is based on the concept of the testimony of faith being “there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His messenger”. Muhammad is the final messenger to whom was revealed Quran and something like it, being his sunnah. We may add the Prophet Eesa (Yeshu/Jesus) – peace be upon him – is a messenger of Allah. He preceded Prophet Muhammad . We accept and revere him. The true expression of this declaration of faith will result in the unity of the ummah.

Our unity is based on the Kalimah – the testimony of faith. Any division caused in the ummah questions our unwavering attachment to the kalimah and what it entails. Of course, people make mistakes but to teach division is unacceptable. Notes like these cannot always go into every detail, but broadly speaking, unity is the goal while division is understood for its harm and even sinfulness. Allah commands us:

“And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided….” [Quran 3:103]

An expression of unity is the congregational prayer. This is a lesson you can carry beyond the prayer itself.. Your prayer in congregation brings you together to pray in one direction, following one imam, while standing shoulder to shoulder, performing the prayer in the manner taught by Prophet Muhammad . Understand that “Pray as you see me pray” is but one way of reminding us that Prophet Muhammad is our teacher and example. This is the principle that whatever he taught us, you reply “We hear and we obey”. This means that whenever an authentic hadith is quoted,  you know and understand that you have no further say in it whether your imam or shaikh said something different or not. Your response should always be “We hear and we obey”. Allah says:

It is not for a believing man or woman—when Allah and His Messenger decree a matter—to have any other choice in that matter. Indeed, whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has clearly gone astray [Quran 33:36]

This is the step to unity. The second pillar of Islam is “Salah” (prayer). Take the lessons from it and understand unity from it. Of course, you will better understand it when you live it by frequenting the masajid (sing – masjid = mosque) for congregational prayer, the first expression of unity in action.

You will agree that had there been unity as was in the early years of Islam, the Palestinian issue will either not have been an issue or it will have been resolved a very long time ago. Yet, here we are. There is an issue on Palestine. This issue has stirred some awareness in you. Be part of the solution. The basics are simple. Let’s start with the pillars of Islam: The Testimony of faith – understand it well and live it. Part of living it, is to be punctual and sincere in your daily prayers and offering it in congregation has enormous rewards and benefits. Let your next prayer in congregation be more than routine. Let it be a step toward unity, a stand for justice, and a pledge to revive the ummah.

The Help of Allah is near - Part 2

The most obscene idea is Bibi nominating Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. Having said that, the Nobel prize for us is meaningless. However, to mention Donald Trump positively in relation to peace is the worst of deceit. And there you have it. The world is filled with deceit and those who get the most “front page” coverage are the purveyors of deceit. Of course, there is no difference between mainstream media and these people they portray.

How do we counter mainstream media. Perhaps start off with placing little emphasis on it and minimising your exposure to it. The alternative: social media. Social media can lead to much distraction as it is filled, for the most part, with meaningless content. Those who actively use social media should up their game and bring forth the truth on matters such as Palestine. The true humanitarians and believers are large in number enough to swamp the various platforms. It is firstly about raising awareness about the plight of the Palestinians, Masjid-al-Aqsa and the very many evil plots from the Zionists, their lackeys and supporters.

The International Criminal Court has issued a warrant of arrest for Benjamin Netanyahu for crimes against humanity. It is thus preposterous that such an individual can even, in the slightest, suggest who should get an honour for peace. Then who is he nominating? Donald Trump. This is the President of the United States of America who supplies the very same Bibi with bombs. And are these not then the bombs that are destined for the people of Gaza? And is this not the bombing that resulted in the warrant of arrest. Trump’s approach on immigration and tariffs is causing much unease and tension, both in the US and with its trading partners. He is hardly a man of peace. A reminder that Quran tells us about these people:

When they are told, “Do not spread corruption in the land,” they reply, “We are only peace-makers!, Indeed, it is they who are the corrupters, but they perceive [it] not.” Quran 2:11-12

Bibi faces corruption charges in his own country while the American people are saddled with a divisive Trump. What good can come for the people of Gaza and Palestine as a whole, when these individuals are involved. Raise the volume in calling them out. Use social media responsibly by standing for justice which means supporting the oppressed people of Palestine. Any nomination, by Bibi, for a peace award must be rejected with the contempt it deserves.

Let the memes flow. Challenge false narratives. Amplify Palestinian voices.

March to the Holy Land - Part 7

End Goal

The march to the Holy Lands is something that will happen. The convoy and march to Rafah is not the ultimate march. Jerusalem and Aqsa will be liberated as Sayyidina Umar (Allah be pleased with him) and a second time under the leadership of Sultan Salahuddin. However, the distraction currently is the confrontation between Israel and Iran. At this moment in time, the peaceful humanitarian minded march is being impeded in Egypt. There is tension. No one can afford a mistake, least of all the tyrants and their lackeys.

One mistake is a spark from this “conflict” between Israel and Iran landing in between these two countries. Flames will erupt from this spark. The truth of it all is somewhere in the middle. The question for you is “what is your focus?” and is it the right focus. The strikes on Gaza continue unabated claiming multiple lives with each hit. Jordan, that minute little kingdom, which is like a province of Israel, is apparently intercepting the Iranian missiles intended for Israel. Jordan can, of course, protect its airspace. The focus! Is it that Israel banned all worshippers from Aqsa and were prevented from attending the Jumu’ah (Friday congregational prayer)? Will Gaza disappear while a “war” is waged on the grounds or Iran’s nuclear capability? Is the USA and Donald Trump not the main protagonist of discussions and deals with Iran? Yeah, each line has a different emphasis as if it is to confuse you.

The task at hand is huge and tough. Focus is required. The end goal understood. Reflect on your contribution. And if you understand the end goal and what the focus ought to be, perhaps you will be firm in your contribution. A simple example is that a small sacrifice is to boycott a famous beverage. Of course, it may not be possible to boycott everything, but surely you can do luxuries. Some have spent money traveling to Egypt to march towards Rafah. That is a sacrifice. How do you not know about it? Is the sad reality that you have not partaken in a chat group or some other type of grouping where real issues are discussed? At least important issues can be highlighted. It appears that there is a serious amount of work to be done to educate people. However, to educate people, there should also be the willingness to be educated. Aqsa has been closed. Is Aqsa under threat during the Israel-Iran conflict?

The real end goal is to meet Allah with a contented heart. On the way to do that, it must be to implement Allah’s laws – to invite to good and to prevent evil. You must stand for justice and oppose oppression. Ask the right questions from the right people, understand the end goal and play a meaningful role in achieving this. It is good versus evil. On which side are you? Can you be focused and not be distracted by side-shows.

The Line in the sand - Part 10

Abandoning Hajj

The world may be in turmoil. But Muslims appear to be in greater turmoil. So much can be read into this last statement, that it begs for deeper understanding. Muslims are to take the lead in calling to good and preventing evil. Generally, Muslims are at fault in their failure to uphold this and then there are specific situations when the general Muslim population may have some excuse.

The re-establishment of the Caliphate is important. Is this merely supposed to happen at the End of time? And how close is the world to that time? As mentioned previously, Quds plays a role in the Caliphate. The devastation caused in those lands are continuing unabated. Does the Muslim world show that it is colonised and hence its subjugation? Do not get carried away with the fanfare of the recent Trump Middle Eastern “tour”. The usual American rah-rah to go with their leader who blows his own trumpet anyway, must be taken with a pinch of salt. This simply means that whatever agreements were reached, go back many years, and is now confirmed as news. The numbers and other details are immaterial. The reflection is upon us that Muslims too, the world over, is subjugated. And therein lies a simple question, “Are Muslims voluntarily being subjugated?”. The answer lies in the line on the sand and whatever lines of deviation Muslims follow. For is it not in our general disobedience to Allah that we are being tested without what appears to be any way to defend Quds and/or to establish a caliphate?

The principles of Islam are five. The rulings concerning these are clear and each and every Muslim must strive to fulfil it. Hajj is one of those pillars of Islam. Corrupt rulers, corrupt Muslim rulers have lived before, and the pilgrimage was never in question. Hajj must continue as it is the one pillar that physically bring people from all over the world together in one place. Hajj is that period that the entire world is focused on Makkah and its precincts. The call to pilgrimage was first made by Prophet Ibrahim – peace be upon him - upon the instruction of Allah. The pilgrimage is one that the enemies of Islam acknowledge as key and a reflection of Islam. While it continues when Muslims are weak, then consider the greater impact when the Muslims are strong. Non-Muslims acknowledge this. Thus, any call to abandon it, is filled with emotion but has no basis.  Even during the misguided lockdown period in 2020, hajj took place (more on the topic of lockdown at another time, but know that the same people who brought the lockdown are massacring our brothers and sisters in the land of Quds). Can you really fix something by abandoning a prescribed act of worship?

The question of which line you are following seems simple, yet you and I may be tainted. You cannot claim to be on the straight path while crawling into the lizard hole. Should you not stick to the basics, and travel along this straight line, light and focused?

The line in the Sand: Part 8

Chapter 8: Groups and Sects

Following a madhab carries benefits, the first of which is that a great learned person already collated the rulings of Islam into one. Something for which to be grateful. There are matters of aqeedah (belief) that further categorise Muslims into groups. The four imams of the madhabs still known today, did not differ on matters of aqeedah, so a misguided person or group cannot hide behind their madhab on this issue.

However, even during the time of the four imams, issues of aqeedah raised its head. Being exposed to foreign ideas and influences, some people inclined to a different way of thinking. Before this, problems started arising with the rise of the Khawarij and the Shi’i. While initially the shi’a were based purely on political difference, with time it evolved into a sect of its own, away from Ahlus-sunnah. The focus here will not be on these groups. Rather the focus is on those who use speech and logic in their arguments rather than Quran and Sunnah. Yet, these people will claim to follow Quran and Sunnah. For the moment, let’s leave the topic of “who is Ahlus sunnah” hanging. These posts are issues with which you need to get to grips through addressing with, and learning from, credible scholars. The difference between groups owning the title, is that while true followers of Quran and sunnah seeks proof from these main sources, the other group will incline to speech and logic. On these groups, differences of Aqeedah arose. These are serious matters which you need to carefully learn and consider. The point is what are your main sources. Do you love Prophet Muhammad and follow him? If you follow him, then is it not important to get his view on the matter? Did not his companions understand his teachings better than us? There arose people and groups who inclined to using speech and logic. This was something that was denounced by the great imams. Effectively, at the hands of one earlier group, many scholars were killed because they rejected them and their teachings. One such teaching was that the Quran was created. They were eventually marginalised, but new groups came and merely reformed some things while inclining to their methodology.

There are more issues to discuss. For the moment, consider what causes differences and which differences are serious, and which are not. If you remain unaware of these differences, it may be good. But it is more likely that your ignorance of these differences may not give you certainty of the line in the sand. Furthermore, which differences require rigidity and which not. Understanding these differences will be helpful. Many are afraid to ask the questions for fear of exposing their ignorance. Perhaps the question we should all ask is, “what will be my position in front of Allah on the Day of Resurrection?”. Today there are many terms used for groups or sects and how many have any idea what it means. Sometimes people have been grouped together by people outside such a group. Labels are attached, sometimes derogatory or slanderous. Nevertheless, some of the names and labels used are: Ahlus sunnah, asharias, mu’tazilah, Deobandi, Barelvi, Salafi, Wahhabi, sufi. And within these group may be groups.

The line in the sand is key to your way forward or must you reverse to get onto the straight line? This is not a judgement call, but merely a “dare to think” or shall I say “Dare to learn” call. We all have work to do. The most amazing part of these posts is that I am really addressing myself. The flip side of that is that the next person is but a mirror to oneself, so we reflect and learn.

Blow the Trumpet - Part 2

The enemy has long since infiltrated the religion of Islam and set about causing corruption and conflict. The people of the book have done so to their own religion. The key to checking ourselves is to review and assess our beliefs.

Bearing proper belief and adherence to Quran and Sunnah in mind, we know that correct adherence was ever weakening over the course of time. However, the need for a unified ummah, lead by a caliph, remains important.  The least semblance of caliphate was eradicated just over a century ago while the enemies of Islam were working on this for an extremely long time. Casting our minds back in history, to the time of Sayyidina Umar (Allah be pleased with him), the second caliph, then Islam spread far and wide. Today that same area that he ruled has been broken down into smaller countries, each ruling itself without any accountability to a central leader. Therein lies a major weakness. These countries did not materialise by itself and come into being except that disloyal Muslims sided with the enemy against the Caliph. Don’t mind my description of these people and have your say. The soul of Islam was sold for a penny (is this life better than the next?). No caliphate and no real further attempts to create a caliphate. The masters were pulling the strings and slowly the Muslim world regressed, further than ever before.

The creation of I*s-r-a eel on the stolen land after the massacre of the Palestinians was the ultimate insult to Muslims – without exception. This happened while these newly-formed countries were part of the newly-formed United Nations Organisation. And what is the United Nations Organisation? The most important part of understanding this organisation is to see what eemaan entails and then know that it is the antithesis of eemaan. Therefore, every organ that it spawned needs to have a similar label. Of course, good people, oblivious of the evil of the UN intent, were/are working on the ground in many a country and doing good work. Yet, it is tainted by mere association.

It is your eemaan that will save you and grant you passage into paradise. Part of eemaan in to disbelieve in taghut which means that you place no faith in organisations like the UN and you actually reject it as having any legitimacy. Does not Allah tell us that “You are the best nation evolved for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah”

Things to consider

They walked wide-eyed into the trap. They were blinded even with perfect vision. They were weakened even though they ate and drank well. They were poor even though they lived in beautiful houses and drove fancy cars. Their hearing was good, loving the vibey noisy atmosphere.

The stories of Quran are more than just stories. Every story in Quran has application and, right now, in our state, we can analyse and apply  it to us. One story that comes to mind is that of Talut, when marching to fight Jalut, instructed the army not to drink from the water from the river, yet many of them drank. They were not allowed to continue with the army. Alhamdulillah, the reduced, smaller army was still granted victory. Today, Muslims are lured into various traps, some openly siding with the enemy, others drinking from the water and becoming ineffective in establishing justice and peace. First off is that Muslims need to understand their shahadah (testimony of faith) which is based on Tauheed. The “army” of Muslims will be small, and you will need to understand the reasons for it. Then ask yourself whether you are part of this army or have you already disqualified yourself. Words are easy to utter, it is in the execution that you are part of the those who call to good and forbid the evil. When you are instructed not to drink from the river, will you drink?

Politics and economics affect us all. Yet, which politics and which economics today are Islamic? You may be concerned about Trump’s election as president, but it is of little consequence to us. Rather, it is the system and who he represents that are greater concern. People talk about state capture but that has been the order of the day from long before. This means that the majority of people in the world are governed and ruled over by a much stronger cabal (Zionism?) than the people you think is your government. So, what is the way forward. You have three options open to you: One is to drink from the river (which most are doing anyway). Secondly, you can abstain from drinking from the river. Thirdly, you can remove yourself from the worldly affairs and claim your worship is all that matters.

You have been blessed by being given that extra moment to make the right decision. Use it and choose wisely. There is no place for cowboys, nor cowards.

Real Entertainment

It’s raining bombs. It is true literally and, globally, figuratively. Bombs kill. Some instantaneously and some die a slow death. Worse still, if you are captured by the deception and become the walking dead.

Movies and entertainment have become real. You hear the phrase “like it is out of a movie” more and more. An example is what you make of the Trump ordeal. It is all real, isn’t it? Just like the torrents of rain that Cape Town is experiencing. I hear it being attributed to global warming. If you hear a lie often enough, you might believe it. Trust Allah and believe in His guidance unconditionally and wholeheartedly. Just something to be reminded of is that as part of the belief in Allah, is to disbelieve is falsehood and false deities. Analysing global issues further, Keir Starmer became new UK Prime minister. He is allegedly an atheist and is married to Victoria Alexander, a Jew. In South Africa, real state capture is coming to fruition and still people talk about democracy, as if it is real. By the time your child has been through thirteen years (or more) of schooling, they will have had more indoctrination pumped through their veins that their basic Islamic education. Which way will they lean? Allah protect us all. Before you get carried away with thinking this is all about conspiracy theories, you need to go back to the basics. Firstly, you have placed education in the hands of those who are opposed to Allah’s law. You went through the mild form, yet sufficiently intoxicating, of their education system. The time for indoctrination on steroids is here. Secondly, many have faith in what is presented to them by transgressors or is “scoundrels” a better word. Little attention is paid to Allah’s laws and when it is, it is more often seen from a “western” angle. This life of deception is reaching a crescendo. You talk about matters as if it is normal and real. It is only real because you accept it and believe it. Accusations is aimed at the Arab world, in particular, for their lack of concrete steps to end the genocide, and rightly so. But have you done enough, if anything? Have you learnt anything from the Palestinians? How do you support Palestine but believe and partake in the fear-mongering scamdemics perpetrated by the same people who fund and commit genocide? Do you think they only kill by bombing? Then too in your beliefs, do you really think Karbala is the reason for Youm-us-Shura? Ignorance may be a defence at times, but when you are called to learn, reflect, think, ponder, do you not turn away? When it is said Allah and His Rasool (Muhammad ) says, do you not retort with “but …”.

At this juncture, it is better to remain silent than to spread the lies and deception that you have been taught or gathered from mainstream media and the scoundrels that they represent and parade.
